FAQ
Can I use only digits without writing amount in words?
Do not skip amount in words. Banks can reject cheques with incomplete or ambiguous fields.
Should I write bearer or account payee?
For safer payments, draw two parallel lines and mark as account payee. Bearer cheques are riskier.
Can I overwrite mistakes on a cheque?
Avoid overwriting. Cancel the cheque and issue a fresh cheque to reduce return risk.
